When singing a song for a popular anime series, dressing up as the characters is a sure fire way to drive fans crazy and that’s just what Japanese pop/rock band DISH// did with their latest single, Saisho no Koi ~ Motetakute ~ (サイショの恋～モテたくて～) which is used as the ending theme of Naruto Shippuden (–ナルト- 疾風伝). Of course, what is Naruto Shippuden without DISH// in their Naruto regalia?

Donning their ninja gear are vocalist TAKUMI (北村 匠海) as Naruto Uzumaki (うずまきナルト), guitarist MASAKI (矢部 昌暉) as Might Guy (マイト・ガイ), bassist RYUJI (小林 龍二) as Kakashi Hatake (はたけカカシ) and dj To-i (橘 柊生) as Minato Namikaze (波風ミナト). Keep Reading

14-year-old Leonid Hmelev was found dead after jumping off more than 100 feet from the highest point of an apartment in Chaikovsky, Russia. The cause of his depression and ultimately his untimely death is seeing Naruto character, Itachi Uchiha (うちは イタチ), die in the anime. The Daily Mail, a British news media, has reported this unfortunate event last Friday.

Halloween is just a few days away and Viz Media’s Cafe Press store, Anime Style Revolution Toshin, is getting in on the Halloween season with their Naruto (—ナルト—) and Bleach (ブリーチ) Halloween-themed products.

Included among the products are t-shirts, bags and prints sporting the Halloween colors of black and orange. The Halloween themed goodies are named “Holloween” after Hollows (ホロウ) from the anime series, Bleach – a fitting name for the season of ghosts and ghouls. Keep Reading
