Author Kazuki Sakuraba’s novel Fuse Gansaku Satomi Hakkenden is about to be animated in the light of Fuse Teppō Musume no Torimonochō, and the trailers for this series are highly anticipated. Sakuraba, whose works feature thrilling mystery and adventure, has been much acknowledged in his GOSICK series.  The video trailer features a .48 seconds of sheer animation, where music, atmosphere and character design proudly triggers more excitement for local viewers.

The story of the series has been taken from the 106 volum narrative of the Nansō Satomi Hakkende, the 8 Dog Chronicles which was written by Kyokutei Bakin. Animation studio PA Works has recently released a promotional streaming of their new series, Tari Tari. The official website for the television animation has released this two-minute video, which introduces the story’s main characters and details. As the video states, the series will premiere locally in Japan this summer season. The Tari Tari Series was originally done by Evergreen.

The tale focuses on five high school students who are having a difficulty to fit in their own league. Fans of the anime and manga genre called mecha are sure to have heard of the name Tenjin Hidetaka. In an official announcement made by Otakon last Friday, they will hosting Tenjin Hidetaka on their convention on July 27-28 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Those who are unfamiliar with Tenjin Hidetaka will be in for a surprise. Hidetaka is a very talented artist whose specialty lays in drawing mecha. Although he received no formal training in art, Hidetaka earned a following of fans when he posted fan arts of Macross on his personal website during his college years. In the latest Anime Central convention, American production company FUNimation has announced that an English version of the Japanese anime Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt will be released. During their panel, two episodes were shown which were already dubbed in English and the voice actors were revealed.

Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt tells the story of angels Panty and Stocking Anarchy who were kicked out of Heaven for their not-so-angelic behaviour. On May 26, 2012, the anime YuriYuri will be holding an all girls night event in Tokyo, Japan. Strictly speaking , boys aren’t allowed to enter, however the official announcement has added “Still, for all you Yuri boys, we’re planning to livestream on Nico Nico.”

This comedic, slice-of-life Namori creation revolves around junior high school girls who take over the now defunct Tea Ceremony club room and together they form the Amusement Club. The amusement is led by Kyoko Toshino and Yui Funami.

Japanese talent agency TOP COAT has started streaming the first teaser trailer for the upcoming drama series Kyou, Koi who Hajimemasu.

This title was based on Kanan Miyama’s manga of the same title, and stars singer and moderl Emi Takei (Rurouni Kenshin, Ai to Makoto) and Tori Matsuzaka (Samurai sentai Shinkenger, We Can’t Change the World). Takei will be playing Tsubaki Hibino, an old fashioned girl who looks like as if she came from Showa Era and Masuzaka will play Kyouta, a modern heartthrob.
