On May 26, 2012, the anime YuriYuri will be holding an all girls night event in Tokyo, Japan. Strictly speaking , boys aren’t allowed to enter, however the official announcement has added “Still, for all you Yuri boys, we’re planning to livestream on Nico Nico.”

This comedic, slice-of-life Namori creation revolves around junior high school girls who take over the now defunct Tea Ceremony club room and together they form the Amusement Club. The amusement is led by Kyoko Toshino and Yui Funami.

YuriYuri is originally a manga written by Namori and published in Ichijinsha. It was first published in June 18, 2008 and currently has 7 volumes. On July 2011, Namori wrote Reset! (りせっと!) and together with the original YuriYuri, both series are ongoing. On July 2011, an anime version of the manga was aired. The first season has a total of 12 episodes and was produced by Dogakobo. Which then brings us to the all girls night event.

The second season of the series, which is set for release on July 2, 2012, calls for the all girls night event whose primary objective is to record the opening sound for the series. The event is held in three sessions on the same day and will feature the voice actresses of YuriYuri’s main characters namely Shiori Mikami, Yuka Otsubo, Minami Tsuda and Rumi Okubo.
